St. Gerard SVdP Charity Classic Car Show

The St. Gerard Saint Vincent DePaul Conference (SVdP) is presenting it's annual Charity Classic Car Show on the St. Gerard Parish grounds.  The charity event will benefit the Society of St. Vincent dePaul.  The 2011 event will be held on Sunday August 21st, 2011.  Registration will open at 10:30am and the show will be from 12:30 to 5pm.  In the event of inclement weather a rain date has been set for August 28th.

Attendees will get an opportunity to vote for their favorite cars in a variety of categories from "Favorite Chevrolet" to "What were they thinking?".  There will be 20 Categories of People Choice Awards.  So even if you don't have a "classic" car come on out and be a part of this exciting charity event.

If you have children bring them too!  There is a childrens' playground on event grounds as well as concessions.  There will also be an air conditioned hall to cool off from any excessive summer time heat!

This year we will be also be selling tickets for rides in a 1905 Curve Dash Olds.  A special treat for car Enthusiasts young and old! 

All special interest vehicles are welcome.  So come down to this worthy charitable event and help a great cause!

The Society of St. Vincent dePaul has been providing services for those in need for over 150 years in the United States.  That mission continues today allowing us to provide much needed support to those in need.  These services include home visits,  emergency services, direct services including assistance with food, furniture, clothing, job counseling and much more.  So come and support a great cause!
